functionally ill #3 is out

Functionally ill #3 is out. It's quarter size and made up of small vignettes on identifying, control, pills, psychiatrists, Somatherapy, DBT, and The Icarus Project. Probably the most attractive thing about this issue is a transcription of my voices. That's also what makes me feel most vulnerable.

If you're interested, please let me know and give me your full address. You can email me at my gmail account (robotmad).

hi lm,
i have always been moved by your writing. i'm a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. i spent the summer of my senior year in hospital after my first psychotic break. issue three though, more about management, is something i can relate to because its my own here and now. i've been sober this time for a year and yesterday i was describing my finances to my friend clay when stopped me and asked me if i was drinking again. i said no. it was the convoluted juggling act that made him think it. i wasn't drinking or getting high, i was just thinking like i was. all the work i did to get straight and in the end it was all a cover for the deeper more real problem of how i saw the world and my place in it. there are a lot of zines about mental health but none have the thorough going honesty of FI. i'm so glad i met you. -mike, lazy boy and dorothea
